Almeria, one of the 8 provinces in Andalusia, was often the location to film the Spaghetti westerns due to the arid weather. This time the landscape of this beautiful land was the perfect spot for B&J´s wedding.
B&J live in New York but as the groom as spent most his childhood in Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park in Almeria, they wanted to celebrate their wedding in one of the most ecological, natural and beautiful coast areas in Spain.
Most of the guests came from different parts of Spain but as well some were coming from USA so for them was a great opportunity to explore Andalusia.
The closest friends and family stayed at Villa Maltés, the venue chosen to host the celebrations.
B&J wanted an elegant and sophisticated wedding which could blend with the rustic and arid look of the venue and without a doubt we achieve it with the help of Pedro Navarro Floral and Event Styling.
The hair and make-up preparations started at midday. Capri Peluqueros and Mª Angeles make up looked after all the ladies.
The groom, his best friends and father got ready in another of the houses of the complex sharing stories and drinking some champagne!
The Bride with a Jewish background wanted to have her ceremony conducted by a Rabbi and under their “new home” (Chuppah).
In order to include some Spanish flair in the ceremony, the Bride wanted to walked down the aisle listening how a typical Spanish singer sang “ Todo una vida”.
After the ceremony, JAM (Juan Antonio Morilla Catering) provided a selection of canapes and food stations for 90 minutes…. The guests were delighted with all the food and really impressed with the service and dedication of all JAM´s team.
During this time, the guests could find out where they were seating taking a look to the escort card table. This not only worked to inform the guests their table as well it was their gift: Ecological Honey.
Once the cocktail was finished, the guests were asked to their seats in 4 of the long tables. We wanted a very relax dinner and we achieved it.
The table decoration was a mixture of lavender, eucalyptus, olive tree, succulent, white flowers and candles… at night when all the candles were lit it look amazing!
The wedding cake supplied by El Rincon de las Maravillas was simply and deliciously but it hidden a diamond ring…. a surprise for the bride.
When the dinner was over, a 12 piece band all the way from Madrid welcome all the guests to the party time. They entertained the crowd for more than 3 hours, non-stop.
A chill out area using with white chester sofas, LED white balls and fairy lights were used to decorate the area.
Also a Photo booth from Risbox was available during the open bar so the guests could take another souvenir with them.
Virginia Gimeno capture all the amazing pictures that you can see reflecting not only the beauty of B&J but as well the landscape and the styling of the wedding.
Nacho Arias CinePoesía was in charge of capturing the wedding video to perfection.
It was great to work with B&J and we will wish them the best in this new venture together.
